Lorraine Greene Mills, 91, of Maplewood, N.J., passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2014, at Green Hill Retirement Community in West Orange, N.J. . . .

Born in East Orange, N.J., Lorraine lived in Maplewood for the past 56 years. She was a graduate of Kean College before working for Visiting Homemakers in Westfield, N.J., as a social worker. She was the wife of Harold E. Mills for 60 years; mother of Edmund; Keith and his wife, Joanne; Bruce; Laurie DeSpirito and her husband, Richard, and Patricia Mills; sister of Charlotte Harpell, and grandmother of Alexis.
